I thought it was fantastic! Waiting for 2 to come out now, so get crackin. (there's a strat at bottom, so don't read it if you don't want)
The only thing I wasn't a fan of was trying to get to the 3rd weapon... I consider the weapon you start with weapon 1. Getting those gems proved to be too difficult, especially when the gems fly off screen... I only ran into the not being able to pick gems up one time, but it was stuff I already had 6 of at that point, so I didn't really care. As for whoever said add a magic attack, go with the right side weapon, it uses a projectile. OH, I noticed that for some reason, gems weren't always what they appeared to be. 4ish times I ran into this when it was the last gem I needed to upgrade. XP
Yeah though, fantastic game, I thought it was one of the funner games I've played on newgrounds in a long time.

STRAT (half spoiler):
Pro-tip: Beat easy and normal to get their bonuses, then you should know how the boss works. THEN, instead of adding a ton of points to other things, don't add STR. I know it sounds odd, but eh. Add a couple into DEF, a couple into DEX, and PUMP UP TECH. After each level, CONTINUE TO PUMP TECH. The reason I say don't add STR is that with enough TECH, you can keep using the final attack, which made the final boss a LOT easier for me. My final stat build was 3 STR, 3 DEF, and 4 DEX, with the rest in pump up to lvl 8 or 9. Also, left weapon is better.
