But you forgot to move the background when Mario is running. You only moved the ground, so it didn't look well.

A decent effort
Sprite movies are a good place for beginners to start, but the bad thing is that the movies tend to be a bit cliched when posted here, just because the art style is the same (obviously).
That being said the animation was pretty good, although you should think about animating the backgrounds and stylising the dialogue properly.
What raises a good sprite movie above the others is using sprites in a new and interesting way, good use of sound effects and a plot to drive the thing along. Take a look at the classics (eg Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom, Super Mario Bros Z) and have another go. Nice effort all the same!

Thanks for the Review! yeah I know the dialogue was a bit...yeah I didn't quite like it either but I mean speech boxes like in SMBZ are in about every type of Sprite Flash. I tried taking it a different way but It wasn't good enough. oh well I'm still a beginner I'll learn. I'll be sure to animate the background next time.
