make up your mind, man
This series seems rather inconsistant, and it bothers me. In some shots of your action scenes, you continue to use cheesy cutout-animation that make the characters move flatly around like robots during their flips and falls, yet in other shots, you ditch the cutout technique and whip out some awesomely animated shots.
Also, half of this series seems to be funny while the other half seems to be serious to the point of corny melodrama. And what attempted humor there IS in this series isn't very consistant in itself. There aren't too many funny parts that actually make me laugh. Most of the humor seems to just come from the silly autistic voice you have for Dave.
Despite its flaws (in my eyes), there are a few very good parts, and all-in-all, the animation is done well, especially for a mostly cutout-animation. So I give you an eight for effort. And I'll vote 3/5.
