Adorably macabre!
That was quite pleasant to watch. I feel like a kid again, a kid who is quite indifferent to the mutilation of friendly, bulbous dragons.
The pacing was nice, the animation did the trick (though you could certainly improve the animation of the little girl and her cohort), and the music was funky and stylish.
I noticed two things while viewing. Please tell me if my observations are accurate.
1) The girl seems to be redrawn in the last scene. She struck me as clearer with more confident lines.
2) As the dragon floated up with the balloon his insides seemed to become transparent. I think I can see the sky right through him!

1) last scene? the one with the turtle? Nope. Just another reused Symbol. :D
2) thats right. through 90% of making of the animation, i didn't have any BG. so I didn't thought the transparency would become a problem
