Reviews for "Madness: Assassination"

not bad

it's a great movie with alot of potential and im sure if you work harder on number 2 (if your planning on making a second one) it will be even better

DrSalvadork responds:

Haa thanx!
I'm glad bout the score you give, and the score this got!

There might be a second one, which would probably be longer, but not in the near future at least.
Thanx for commenting!

Cool

Awesome job...Happy Madness day!

DrSalvadork responds:

Haha. And happy (late) Madness Day to you too!

Great job dude!!!

That was so cool!! i loved that slo-mo bloob thing. I hope u make a second one. Also, unlike most people, u actuall drew it with pencil!! everyone else uses a computer. Once again, great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DrSalvadork responds:

Thanx, I'm glad you liked it!
Hate to burst your bubble there, but this was drawn with mouse. On the computer... There are some cool pencil flashes on NG too, but this one wasn't one of 'em.
Haa, I'm glad you liked the blood part. It's only like 1-2 seconds, but that equals about 30 images to draw... That, and the slow-mo in the end were a pain to draw...
Thank you for reviewing!

Nice

well done! Lovly fbf kinda style. Top job on the car and camera angles. I gotta do more fbf my self. Jerrys roket was basically tweens. One tip: have the speech bubbles com up in an effect not just "appear" as such. All up 4/5! A month to make? wow! i betcha a decent fbf for me would take me ages! (even with a tablet)

DrSalvadork responds:

Mmm, I'm glad you noticed all the effort.
The blood slow-motion was a pain to draw...

That's a good tip too, dunno why that never occurred to me...

I thought FBF is too frustrating before I started doing this. It takes a lot of effort, but soon you become more confident and realize that you can animate practically anything if you try enough...

Thank you for the review and score!

It's interesting seeing the traditional madness characters in FBF animation style. Also interesting seeing their world from different angles like this, the way the camera transitions between different places makes it seem very 3d, especially when it zooms in on the street with the car arriving, it's almost like Xiao Xiao for a while there. :D Overall very fluent animation, though the graphics feel a bit thickly-lined. Especially in the first frames, then I guess it sinks in a bit. Also, the speechbubble text looks pretty scribbly at times, especially in the last two bubbles. Otherwise, great stuff! How many frames did it take? And will there be a continuation?? Keep it going!
