Strangely compelling
I'm not sure, I guess it was the combination of a song I adore, a really funny looking character whose moves were well animated, the interesting moves, and the extremely happy disposition of the human counterpart, but I loved this thing.
Now a couple of minor points. I think the effects started a little too late, I wasn't sure anything was actually going to change but then eventually they did briefly before the animation ended. You might have tried to work in a couple more effects so they were better spaced throughout the whole piece.
But the main thing I noticed: if it had looped properly at the end I might have had to give it a 5, but without the music starting up again the spell was broken and I went for the 4. I favorited it though, so you should totally fix the looping so I can be drawn in in the future.
