Reviews for "Batch Code Generator"

im not gonna blam it just cuz i don't get it

well.. since everyone else really likes it, that indicates to me that i am just not smart enough to actually know what im doing... i made a batch file using ur gadget.. but when i went to open it on my computer... nothing happened, if anyone could help that would be nice... my bf is a comp engineer so i thought if i sent it to him it would make him smile, since he is very geeky in that sense and actually gets this stuff... most of the time he tries to explain stuff like C++ to me and it flies way over my head.. but anyways.. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS MORE UNDERSTANDABLE THAN IT USE TO BE!!!

I like this.

It's good for people learning to program, I remember messing with batch files when i was 10 or so, hehehe. Anyways, good job. I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate this.

NICE

Awesome!

Batch files are very underrated in the Windows world, mostly because more and more Windows users don't know old-school DOS.

This is the kind of thing Microsoft should have included with Vista ... a way to snap together commands to generate batch files. I've also made the same suggestion in Ubuntu forums, since programming Linux scripts can get tedious or had for the average noob.

The idea I had was something like that Scratch animation program, where you hook together blocks like legos that would have the processing logic, etc tied to them. But, this is a very, very good tool. The stupid thing is that MS Windows doesn't come with a program design tool, otherwise you could have done one for that. The Windows Script Host model only serves up Java Script and VBScript. You have to tie into some kind of form module, and it's not exactly easy to do for the casual programmer.

It's just annoying that Microsoft doesn't span the gap between Windows noob & Programming guru by making tools like this for the beginner programmer or power user.

Good show, Sir! Bow to you!

A little bit different, but quite a cool tool. It would be better off downloadable somewhere though, rather than hosted on the newgrounds portal.
