~Short Summary~
Modern Tactics 3 is a turn-based game with slightly frequent but minor bugs that really took those few stars. You would have a great amount of fun playing this game if you overlook those problems, however. It is likely that Lautan is working on these. If you're thinking of playing this game, it is well worth it.

~Real Review~
Modern Tactics 3 is the third installment of the series that promotes smart thinking, teamwork, and tactics. Unfortunately, it is missing multiplayer, and the last game's multiplayer never works. Bugs are chewing at it's gameplay and addictiveness, but questing for that .50 Cal and the intense teamwork will still be fun. This is not reduced to just unlocking and shooting people that cover up their faces, however.

MT3 has quite a few game modes, given and taken from MT2. One, which is Stealth, reduces you to just you and a single teammate to any amount of enemies up to 10 (You can adjust the amount with other game modes as well, although not on seperate factions). It can be fun if you're looking for a challenge, but it's not literally Stealth - it starts like any other game, but you just have less people.

Another game mode is Medic, where one team must kill the other team's medic, which has a white helmet with a red cross on it. The Medic has an unlimited amount of "Aid" powerup perks, which can heal teammates for 70 health, bring back dead teammates, and when "Aiming" (An ability), can fully heal teammates. I have yet to try the aiming with dead teammates, however.

But wait, is there more? Why, of course! A game likely inspired by the popular console game Call of Duty 4 can not go without perks! Perks are three powerups, each associated in a certain field, used for classes in the Class Creator. For example, Eagle Eye (Which increases accuracy greatly) is in the section I call "Powerups". Something a few would call a "Powerup" are grenades. There is the normal frag grenade of course, and "Bang" (Which blinds and stuns opponents for one turn around a tile). That is not all that is included of course! There is the Supplies Grenade, which re-fills a soldier's grenade and ammo, and mentioned earlier, the Aid Grenade, also known by some players as the Medikit.

~The Campaign~
In the campaign, like the other games, you play as Commander Nicholis, a kind of hero to MT fans. But of course, that's not the only person you play! It's tactical turn-based, after all. Campaign takes the soldiers you make in the addictive "Class Creator", and brings them in pre-set (For example, Mission 3 will use Soldier 3, Soldier 6, And Soldier 2). Nicholis will always be soldier the first soldier. The campaign is where the Ultranationalists' unfair advantages really annoy you, since you're trying to finish toward something. The prize at the end presumably has a bunch of cheats. Although there are grammar errors, nothing is perfect, right?

A worth your time game.

~The Multiplayer~
No Multiplayer.

~Suggestions~
Powerups

The Commander is Here (Perk/Powerup) - Gives troops nearby a morale boost, giving them one extra shot for 2x less damage (Does not work with knifing) and take 10 less damage. The person with the powerup is not effected. Icon: A star

Get Down (Grenade) - When used, all nearby allies will take 5 less damage (15 less damage from grenades) for the next 2 turns. Icon: Crouching Soldier

Advance (Grenade) - All nearby allies will be able to move two tiles further and take 7 more damage the next time they get hit. Additional shots wont count. Icon: Moving Soldier(s)

bug heaven

I'll give it a 6 man every time I turned around there was a bug. Some enemy would throw a grenade or supply them selfs and it would repeat. I can even restart the level.

And whats the stealth they know were you are the second you start and with knifes would it be more effective from behind not the front. I'd do a forth one and play it your self for a while before putting it on hear again.

Good as always.

I've been following this series since MT2 came out love both of them the multiplayer is always a cool feature same with maps
