Maestro this is your best piece yet. Oh you are on your way to greatness my friend. Be very proud of this piece. My only gripe about it... is as I believe someone else mentioned. It doesn't give you that real sound... it sounds like your listening to it being recorded into a microphone instead of it feeling like your actually there. Man... if you could fix that... your right up there with Edgen. And hey... wheres that collab?... come on mate. I've been dieing to hear what u've done with it.

Pretty Impressive...

The beggining of the song threw me out of my chair! Holy crap! You should of added like a flute trill then the reverse ride and I wouldn't of jumped out of my chair. Nice piece though. You should try equing this a bit more. Cause the vocals and deep strings sound a bit distorted. The violin solo was nice. The oboe gave it a nice medieval feel but the solo oboe didn't sound too good. Don't know why. I just think a pussy instrument like that doesn't stand out in the midst of such a variety of instruments.
Orchestrated music always sounds good anyways. But you must check out Edgen on newgrounds and jaredhudson.com for some amazing orchestrated music. Peace! Check out my music too.

here comes the shocker!

There was no oboe here, just a clarinet, and I stacked the clarinets in the high octaves, making them play notes, which are not physically possible, which gives an organ like sound!

this portion took only about 4 hours, I reckon another 5-6 will seal its fate completely. There is quite a bit of equalizing to do and such.

I was tempted to put this song in Goth, but I am quite sure it doesn't follow the guidelines, or framework for gothic music. So I stuck it where I knew it would work ^^.
