good idea.
sort out the physics though... hes too keen to jump to his lavaish death when you walk off a block. jumps are hard too, so is the rope, you should be able to gain momentum with the rope with the < and > arrow keys.

Only one thing that bothers me: Since when do hats have bones? It's kind of embarrassing me and maybe you could change it to ashes or something lake that.

It's PISSING ME OFF!!!!!
It's pretty fun, but the physics are just ANNOYING!!!!! I constantly accidently slide into lava, whenever you have a brick above your head, it takes fifty tries to finally jump forward, and the grappling hook is practically useless.
All I can say is revamp the physics and the game is gold.

I think this was definitely an issue with level 2 due to the level's design. I fixed that level and I believe the physics for the game work great for all the levels now.

I really liked this game because the graphics and drawing were so smooth and it never lagged. I also like the fact that it didn't get boring after a while, like some of the games I play here on NG...
All in all, you did a very good job with this game...
