Reviews for "Story of Edward Spencer"

could've been longer

It was okay for a first flash game, but it was really short, and the rooms were way too easy. Maybe aim for a little bit more difficulty in your next one. I liked the animation style. Also, I'm not sure if it was a clear "story" of your main character...left a lot to wonder about, like why was he on the ship? what were the documents? basically need more setting and plot. Hopefully these suggestions helped.

RautaSydan responds:

People seem to have different opinions on the "puzzles" in the rooms.

The story is kinda a quick initialisation for a plot lot wider. I won't be making a direct sequel for the game but one that will definately tell what the documents were and why they were stolen :) Thanks for the review!

I'm really glad I played this

Definatley an awesome flash! It was a bit short, but very good, considering the time you spent on it. Now, let's see what you can come up with when you spend a few months on a flash...

RautaSydan responds:

Thank you!
I'll be sure to spend more time on the next one and make it longer :)
Thanks for the review :D

Good thing i know a guy that loves numbers!!!

Yeah, and it took him like seconds to figure it out where it took me 15mins to get angry and seek outside help. Atleast i have a new way of going about find codes now.
Good game, though. Now see what would happen it you worked one out in a month.

RautaSydan responds:

I'm glad I managed to wake some feelings in you :)

I sure will spend more time on the next game and will take note for all feedback. Thanks for the review!

I'll give u credit

Using the passcodes as a pattern is pretty smart. Passcode equation: current number + previous number = next number. That should help some of you that are stuck.

RautaSydan responds:

Hehe, thanks!
Seems like the clue opens up for some people and for some people doesn't. You know when you have a password list (netbanks' passcode lists for example) and you have used all the numbers you have to get a new one :D

Thanks for the review :)

Fun.

Yeah i'm going to have to give it a 7 too. I couldn't figure out the passcode to get past the second room. Tried all the numbers on that list, then tried them all the same time, and tried a bunch of other random numbers/words. Little tough for myself i guess.

RautaSydan responds:

Oooh, maybe I should've given a bit more hint, or not made the entry field so long :o

Thanks for the review and playing though :)
