Reviews for "Bioluminescent Ripples"

Oh crap, I remember this song.

I used to listen to this on your GroundZero page all the time. I would always get the guitar parts stuck in my head.

Very cool song. It carries a mesmerizing tone to it, and the glitches and effects create an impossible-to-follow level of activity throughout. Seriously love the guitar parts, and the piano that would accompany is an awesome addition, I think.

Definitely one of my favorite older tracks by you.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Yeah, I remember only posting it to that website. Awesome you remember :D

With enough listen, the glitches will show you their patterns ;)

I was always a little self conscious about the piano. I'm never quite happy without using a real one. So I'll layer electronic and real samples together to get a more realistic sound and feel. Thanks for saying that, man. I think that's one of the only reasons I've never shown this piece off.

Thanks for the kind words Retroman!

mesmerizing

it mesmerizes me. Like chillwave music, I like the sounds.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Great to hear. Chillwave is some good stuff. Toro y Moi, being one of my favorites. Thank you for listening.

This song is amazing,

it's like i am listening to depechemode. Kinda experimental, but i just must to listen to it few times in the week. Basses, piano, guitars , glitch - everything so smoove. Keep up the good work.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Can't say I've ever been compared to Depeche Mode. That's cool, though. I appreciate your ears, man. Thank you for the comment. I will keep up the good fight! :)

Dude

Thats some good shit. I saw a Rewiew about chillwave so i wont write it again xDD.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

:-)

For me, the ripples came at around 2:30, and I really enjoyed the intricacy there. It did hurt my ears a little, it felt a little too raw and clicky.

The beginning piano-like chord made an impression on me. I liked the integration of piano overall :)

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

I'm sorry to have hurt your ears.
We're all built a bit different.
I can see what you mean,
but my brains love it.
