Reviews for "Zero Hour (2011)"

Nice combo !

This is in fact a very interesting piece. I must say I think you achieved your goal. Although, some transitions still feel like forced the music fits nicely. The guitar solos are what makes this music live. I do have to criticize the ending however. Your music should end at the 4min mark ... Somehow you decide to abruptly add a new set of drums (which feels like forced IMO) with the guitar. I believe you could have done it sooner.
Either way, nice work.

This deserves to be in front page. I wonder if I should search the rest of your audio repository :P

Thanks for your review! This is the newest version of this song where I added a "finale" section for my live performances. The song originally did cut off around the 4 minute mark. Also, you can find all my music at matthewpablo.com Again, thanks for the review!

Now thats some fucking metal!

I may not be the expert on Metal but I can safely say this Rocks ass (Huh I think I just made up a new word here) Each second keeps getting more intense and fast paced. I must know what Programs were used in the making of this. It feels too good for Newgrounds hahaha. Anyway in short this is some sick shit. Keep up the good work man!

Thank you for your review :) For implementation of the orchestral and choir instruments I used East West QL Symphonic Orchestra Gold and Symphonic Choirs. I recorded all the parts in FL Studio 10 and then mix and mastered everything in Pro Tools 8 HD. Please check out more of my music on my website: matthewpablo.com

Makes me feel like a BAMF

F**CKING GREAT. I was listening to this while playing Oblivion just now and I made the game waaaay better. I felt like a BAMF just exploring a cave and shooting some bears in the face. Definitely gets the adrenaline pumping!

Thanks! I'm glad my music is being put to good use! I have way more stuff just like this on my website, you should check it out and also there's a link to download 112 songs from me! Here's my website: matthewpablo.com

Great stuff!

Nice work, really nice work! There's some really great prog in there, have you ever listened to Dream Theater? I'm sure you'd like them just because segments in this song sound like some things they've done. Very, very good song, you could stay the top artist if you keep uploading more of your great songs! I really look forward to seeing even more of your masterpieces become Newgrounds hits.

deadlyfishes responds:

Thanks! Well, you're right on the dot on that one. Dream Theater, Lamb of God, Rage Against the Machine, Megadeth, just to name a few are big influences for my metal-prog tracks. I hope that my other songs get noticed, because there are better songs that I have uploaded on my portal, but don't have much recognition. It's also funny you mentioned that because when I lost the #1 spot for this song, my other song "Star Chaser" started to get attention and is moving up on the charts! I hope you check everything out on my audio portal here and my official website where you can download 112 songs from me for free! www.matthewpablo.com Thanks again for your review.
