Reviews for "Space Junk"

...

Its a nice simple 'On break' game but fairly slow and wtf pre-emptive exploding objects.

Start off slow...

The game started off *very* slowly, with wait times around maybe 10 seconds for one item to come on the screen. Don't speed up the items, but speed up their appearance towards the beginning of the game. Also, some items were just too fast to shoot before they hit the planet, like the sunglasses.

I do find it odd that there are forks, apple cores, sunglasses, bananas, and baseball bats the size of the Earth... I wonder what kinda of planet they came from...

Could be a bit faster.

The game is a bit slow paced with one piece of junk on screen most of the time.
If you shorten the reload time and have more objects flying towards the earth at once, this could become something good.

Few redeeming qualities.

The small window prevents you from seeing incoming objects until a couple seconds before they hit, and since objects come rather infrequently, it becomes a rather unsettling waiting game.

Also, the mini turrets are practically handicaps that you spend your hard-earned points on. They're totally useless for hitting targets, as they only shoot in random directions at infrequent intervals. Also, the first target it did hit was a power-up, which reduced my progress meter even though I had no say in the matter. So ultimately, I wasted 30 points for something that harms more than helps. Which is incredibly frustrating. It's poor design, if you ask me.

Overall, I feel the game is shoddily crafted, and requires a lot (and I mean A LOT) more work before it can be considered fun.

Bugs..

This game needs to be reworked, the mini turrets shoot the items and you lose experience. They also shoot targets so randomly that their bullets hit first and you lose 100% accuracy.

You lose the mini turrets when things hit earth, I'm not sure if that was done on purpose, but I tested this theory.

It's definitely a simple game.
