Reviews for "Acid Paradox-a boy and his dog"

amazing

all the instruments have a a very nice addition to it.

Really good

I loved all the sounds you used to make this, they all have a distinct sound to them and they don't really blend into one sound, it sounds like they are all far apart, the panning was great and the emotional aspect to the song was really well done too, this is really good. Good luck in the competition as well.

Sounds great

Really enjoy it started out as a soft rock type of song with the guitars playing different beats. One plays the huge long notes while the other plays the small notes. Then you added in the chime which sounds kind of like a door being opening to a store in the 50s or something close to it. Really like how ambient the drums sound as well. Then the bass line comes in soft as well.

The beat as a whole just sounds pretty soft and relaxing.

Overall, calm.

This is a very 1970's approach to this contest. I love that this doesn't sound all electronic and bass pumping. Your idea is very refreshing, back to real live instrument playing, sadly is unique in this day in age. I respect classics and even the spirit of classic, which this embodies. This implies an uplifting and heavenly feeling with the melody and chord progression. Peace and relaxation are also heavily implied which go very well with the contest criteria as well. Very good job on this. 9.1

Hey man thanks for the review , i remember that you also reviewed "happy song" days ago and i didn't know you were a NAC Judge.
I really don't like to stick only to one genre, i like experimenting with different genres, so yeah i have some variety of songs here.

Thanks

An actual guitar! +points for that already! You're really good with it. <3

Great drum sequencing too, I can already feel the love within the first 15 seconds after they kicked in. I think this is a song you really have to get lost into, because it does repeat itself a lot, or if not that, stays within it's comfort zone too much. At least until the 2 minute mark. :)

The guitar 'solo' part is pretty cool, but could have benefited by a bigger buildup to something, well, for the lack of a better word; bigger! :D I'm fairly certain you weren't going for that though. It goes back into familiar territory again and into a breakdown. This is still a really great song to get lost in and just relax! Which, I'm guessing was your point, and as they say I think, you definitely hit home with it!

8/10!
