Haven't seen it, so I dunno. For his younger, non-pumpkin headed, non-human look I used a couple different anime guys for reference :)
Haven't read some of the other reviews
so I'm sorry if this has been said before, But that was a great reference to resi 2 with the whole doctor Birkin award. Either way, The art is very smooth, but the animation is a little lacking. I also think that professor melancholy is genius! (no pun intended)

I also like that people find the line funny without knowing who Birkin is, since it still works as a joke on someone who can't show up because of their own experiment. Resident Evil fans just get an extra level to the joke by knowing what those "medical complications" are :)
I dunno...
Reminds me a little too much of those old 25 cent sci-fi comics with random good guys and some strangely deformed bad guy that has a german accent and is always trying to destroy the world or something with a gicantic machine that uses "power beyond your control, puny humans". The artwork is good though, I must give you that.
PS: Challenge! Try making an animation with no tweens whatsoever! =D
