Steve got spanked... Self got some SWAGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Great battle though, Steve held his own in the first verse, but that Stan line was immaculate.

Steve was overall better, just my opinion.

another solid battle. I had to spin this thing a couple times.
My vote goes to Self.
When it really comes down to it, the content was damn near even. I originally thought Self came a little soft in the first round, but after digging around Steve's profile, there were a lot of punches that slipped past me like the import/export line.
Self was clean and confident through both rounds. I don't mind saying "I'm not trying" once in a while, but it's been a common theme in the hype track, the first battle, and now this one, and it's getting tired, whether you're trying or not. In general though, Self is solid and belongs in the semis.
Steve had some nice punches and a more complex rhyme scheme, but the charisma didn't come through enough, and it sounded a little forced when it did. When the content is relatively even, that's what it comes down to.
In general, this battle was better than some of the semifinal ones will probably be, but that's the way the bracket falls. You both have a lot of talent, props for a good battle.

Dude the even steven's reference killed me. Both rappers did a good job with their punches but Self's flow was a better. Steve's flow and 2nd verse could have been better. Self definitely won.
