I played the game before the bugs were fixed and even liked it then, I also find its got lots of replay value, my only complaint is when aliens spawn directly on your men, even spawning beside them isn't that shitty but when they land on top its just to much of a shitfest.

As I said in my PM, this is an excellent and faithful reproduction. My only beef with the game is that it's a tad too hard. I mean, the reactor level - ok it's just outside of an alien hive, but to actually have aliens spwan onto the board right next to or literally on the marines makes it damn near impossible to make it halfwayt across the board. In front, behind, to the sides - no worries. However, right next to or on top of makes it pointless to attempt to spread your men out.
Overall despite the difficulty I give this an 8 - a great time killer and the movie-type music definetly adds to the mood of the game. Well done man.
*sigh* now if only I could find something like this for download.....

I think you should add the battle aboard the Sulaco. Then the game would be complete.
Finally beat Operations
This was the first time I ever beat operations. I actually beat the third mission before completing the second one, which I believed impossible. Barely made it, too. Ripley and Newt were the only survivors. Hicks almost made it, but was too slow reloading.
The only way to beat that mission, as far as I can tell, is to grenade spam the beginning. Try to keep hudson/hicks or vasquez/hicks alive. Have vasquez or hudson unlock/seal the door, since their accuracy kind of sucks.
This is a really, really great game. I've played it a lot, and you should be applauded for reproducing it. I'm wondering if there's a rulebook out there I could purchase, or if someone could *ahem*, reproduce it for the public.

One bug you have, the 'flame ground' doesn't pay attention to empty ammo.
