Well

Enjoyed it indeed! Feels a bit like fetching and throwing a baseball especially because you're also running against time. Looks good and mechanically mostly worked really fine (except for the bug mentioned below). But when you're over partime you can just as well take forever because you can only master it at the next attempt. Good thing that you can replay each level but maybe in a sequel you could find a way to keep the first try exciting for longer. The 'did you know' part for the intermissions is nice but the facts could be a bit more interesting (anyone knows that the number of dwarves was 7 and trivia about harry potter is a bit too trivial for my taste) and profound (as whether pluto is a planet or not is a much discussed matter of definition) . The bug: Experienced a bug where the ball exploded when being shot from a port whose back was too close to a wall even if the front was free. The ball then exploded inside the port when I pressed the spacebar. Other than that I found no issues and it ran really smoothly from a gameplay point of view.

AUGH!

Couldn't stand the music - way too loud and fast for me to deal with.

Also, there was absolutely NO tutorial whatsoever. I don't care how simple the game mechanics are, when a player has no idea what's going on until they fail on the same simple thing a few times, they develop a dislike for the game from the word go. Other people might see this as no big deal, I find it to be inexcusable. Even a simple paragraph of explanation would have been sufficient.

"Get to the goal" does not prepare you for anything. I didn't even know what the goal was until the third level. I can't in good conscience give out a decent score to any game that throws you into the action without bothering to establish the outline of what you're up against.

meh..

just meh...

the music!

its the soundtrack that makes this game so fun, i actually prefer this one to the sequel, this game is a lot more intense and fast, based more on reflexes than problem solving. the ball actually moves faster in the second one, but the action in tba 2 just moves a lot slower because you spend more time thinking about the puzzles instead of just jammin with the music and smashing the space bar. at least, that's why i love this game

ok game, but find the sequel

I like TBA2 better tbh.
This is a decent version still, but the newer one is a LOT better ^^
