Sonic is a video game character and we all know it. Why should we get confused with Sonic's wildest day in Emerlad Hill when he gets kocked by the motorcycle? Sure glitches are all around the world of video games: its subtle humor actually makes the whole confusion makes more sense because we are usually frustrated whenever our cartridges or discs go crazy without a reason. Extremely smart and underrated.
