I won't lie.
For a first try, you did ok. Flash is a complex program and it takes a while to get used to it, but you need to work on your voice acting and your animation skills a little. You did ok for a first but I hope you can progress before your next submission :)
I know what it's like to be fed to the wolves, but in the long run it's a benefit.

Theres just too much rubbish like this being held in such high regard merely for the fact that it's badly done.Voice, drawing, and what little animation there is, stinks.
All of your sprites have that blue box around them which looks like you were too lazy to rip them properly.And that Mario you did was terrible.It looks like he has jaundice.

Terrible animation, use more frames and make sure sprites don't have backgrounds. Also, your voice seems forced
