Points are good
You probably should have put more effort into it, if you aren't going to bother fixing the glitches why bother submitting it?
For actual review of it, the controls were okay, there needs to be some fine tuning to things like attacking and damage taking, but, otherwise that was alright. In my opinion the character should change expression when taking damage, but that's just me. The attack looks awkward, as it faces the screen, perhaps if the person performs an attack that faces the enemy rather than the screen it would look better. The levels looked nice, I'll give you that, the 'bosses' if they should be called that, were easily felled due to the attack problem, it may be a good idea, if you do continue this, to make a sort of invisble walls around the 'boss' to prevent the protagonist from passing through.
There could very well be a plot if you bothered to try, the order of the levels and bosses could actually mean something. Sorry, but asking people to not bitch about it, is not an excuse to be exempt from it. If I hadn't read what you put below, I would've expected some plot.
To wrap up this 'tl;dr' review, no story for fail, graphics good, gameplay, mediocre, if you feel bothered to, maybe try and fix those.
