Reviews for "Momentum Missile Mayhem 2"

So cool

I love this game because it is among the most creative games that I have ever played. While I have played many defense games, this is one which was truly unique in its design. I do not even know how to use half, if not most, of the powerups here! What is great is that you have no idea what kind of enemy is going to come next. There are just so many explosions going on everywhere, but still some organization to it all. It might set some record for the most updates to a game in such a short time.

Had some balancing issues.

Most egregiously, the very first projectile! Crappy stability, low damage, elastic collision... once you get the second projectile, there is literally no reason to go back to it. if the stabilities between the two were reversed... but that makes Survival modes VERY unforgiving when you start them, no matter how familiar you are with the game's mechanics. Even if you throw it with minimum speed, and maximum stability, it still blows up on the launcher with distressing frequency. If you should make it past that (which is mostly luck, mind you) it gets a good bit easier... but I HATE seeing that much luck involved in almost any game. It's frustrating as hell. Another (minor) issue is the size of the grabbing area, and power up size. I can't be the only one who's gotten annoyed by that.

Because of that, I knocked off two stars. I was going to knock off three, but the rest of it is too awesome for that.

the combo for the secret safe is...

1950133

Secret.

I found a secret. If you click the purple thing at the bottom left of the main menu, the symbol next to it will change. Now, if you click the parts of the symbol until they all light up, the menu in the center will change into a sort of locked safe. I don't know the combination to the safe, but other reviews for this game suggest that the combination is in several of your games, probably in the same circumstances. I'm pretty sure you're not going to, but can you tell me the combination? I really want to know what's behind that door (unless it'll crash my computer or something like that).

P.S. You have a great game here. I haven't played MMM3 yet, but I'm pretty sure that it doesn't top this one.

Great fun

Very challenging and fun! I've come back to play this game a few times now. Playing through the first time though, I think a person might at times have to scrap it all and start over again if they haven't put enough points into the explosion or implosion skills, once they run into the projectile-absorbing tanks. But aside from this minor complaint, great game!
