Reviews for "Third Issue"

Excellent

I can see some Frank Miller in here, am I right ? :), yet your style is fresh and unique. Good choice of music, and a simple and cool plot.
There is always room for improvement, but hey, rest easy, as this is truly a masterpiece :).
Keep it up !

lusting.

who ever did the art is is very impressive its dissapointing that its not completely tradtional, its a downfall when any flash movie does that ugly looking image movement, were the objects are not re draw yet moved on screen. this could have been amazing.

It was ok...

It was ok, just a bit... slow, I can see why some poeple like it, it's jsut not my kinda thing. Good story though, just a bit short and not enough animation.

Cool style

I like this animation, great original style... a little Sin City-esque but creates that comic book style your after!

It's also a nice change from all these mario parodies. Good to see someone doing there own thing and not following the flock of mario sheep!!

Cool series keep it up

hmm.....not bad

the colors reminds me of the castle stick series, but they use a lot more shadow and light reflectory graphics.

you have created a shadowy series.....it has much potential, but you could use a little practice.

The aerial view with the police cars running over the newspaper isn't a good angle, i suggest a view where the cars don't look too small, and everything is still visible(the buildings, newspaper, etc, etc)
well that won't really help in future submissions..i guess i shouldn't have wrote that...

just taking a guess: when that monster was made...did the other guy who ran away from the hospital the one with a.k.a. the one with the new super powers(hes the one, right?)....spike up the blood cells?it looked like he somehow injected a virus which caused the thug to mutate....did he?

overall...it was great... but i hope future fight scenes won't be like your first issue...because it was kind of hard to tell the movements.

Thanks for the review. In terms of angles, I spend time deciding how best to balance the comic-book appearance against the feelings of being absorbed into "real" world. I decided on the aerial view because I thought this looked like it was ripped from the pages of a comic.
To clarify your plot query, the monster is the same individual from the First Issue to the Third. That is to say that the black figure in the fight, the youngster who was taken to (and escaped from) hospital and finally the guy leaning on the lamp-post who transforms is all the same person. The transformation he undergoes was apparently made by a conscious decision. The thugs are the guy from the train who remains in jail for the duration and the two guys beating up their victim with a pipe (seen at the end of Second Issue). Although it's not 100% clear, the next time we see these guys is hanging upside-down with their feet pinned to a wall by a bent drainpipe. Hope that helps.
Thanks again for the encouragement.
