I don't usually like RPG'S like this but I played this one for 3 hours until I beat it. Pretty cool, I finished all the quests and that last boss took me a while to kill. Hopefully you continue on with more RPGs like this one.
The graphics weren't really great, but for the point of the game they were OK and not really necessary. Nice game!
I'm glad someone played through my whole game. And yes, as many people asked me to make more RPG, it giving me some hope and courage to make an other. It will not be like this one but it will probably use the same battle engine.

You have to buy vitamins at the square town shop if you want to regain some fp.
I got stuck in a tree
I guess I went west I was too far north. I couldn't move or anything. I was about to save too :( Also could you increase the key drop rate I was killing those pointy octogons for a while.
I was sure I had fixed all those collision bugs. I try to find the spot you got stuck and ill fix it as soon as possible. For the key drop rate, it supposed to be 1/4 so I don't think it is really bad. You are probably just a bit unlucky.

The programming and design and sound is all good. And the designs of the houses and trees remind me of old school Pokemon.
And the healing sound when you die, which I did a lot...
I was also surprised when I couldn't run away from creatures three or more levels higher then me, it's basically a death sentance that can pop up at random.
After 15 minutes of playing I could tell it was well worth being on NewGrounds, so I gave it a five, good job.
I'd give it a 8 out of 10, I have to take off some points for reminding me of Pokemon too much.
The healing sound is a classic from those old pokemon game, thats why I put it there. As soon as I stop responding to review, I will remove the +3 level rule, cause I see how this can be frustrating to let yourself get killed.

Smooth graphics, great background music and awesome battles. Reminds me of Final Fantasy for some reason. lol xD
You really should make more RPG games.
Thats a new one. All my friends told me how much it look like pokemon.
So far I didn't get any really bad review. So I guess most people like my game. If it keep that up, I might consider making an other RPG for my next project.
