a simple formulae is often the best...

Graphics:

the graphics are simple, triangle firing circles at squares...due to the simpel shapes it's nice to see you havn't left it rugged and you've smoothed it all out. my game didn't lag once not even when i was playing stupidly on hard with the mega-boost which is good.

Style:

i'm a big fan of shooters, the game is pretty addictive but long due to lack of a pause button (which i'm suprised i havn't seen anyone mention). i liked the added touch of picking up stars afterwards before it finished, it left a sense of achievement.

Sound:

My 'rents are asleep right now and so i didn't have the speakers on, all fairness i'm not gonig to vote 0 for something it was my fault for not doing so i'll meet it halfway.

Violence:

not much violence due to the lack of gore that shapes tend to emit,but the shooting and dividing flowed well as i mentioned before.

Interactivity:

a well planned out menu which to my added suprise totalled all your scores (a nice touch), the game itself was all mous controlled which i found a nice twist over some shooters. my one problem was manouvering but that's due to my own dumb mouse :P

Humor:

i'm a bit crazy, laughing at division in rudimentary shapes i found awesome at some points. especialy picking off the tiny ones with a big circle, so that's cool.

Ovoerall:

i feel there's a good solid game here, it all flows well and it has some very nice quirks to it. it's one of the few games recently that's challenged me too (just like everyone else apparently), i think however the games in desperate need of a pause button/key for the longer modes. apart from the pausing i congratulate you on a good game, and now i must finish hard mode before sleeping....for 'tis midnight in the UK and i'm pretty tired.

A pretty damned good game. At first, I thought the controls were the ordinary keyboard, but you took on a new take and made it easier for me! :)

huh?

first of all wtf? this game is very vague or maybe i'm just dumb which could be. there are no instructions and i died in like two seconds and that doesn't make for very good game play. neon and neon 2 kick ass yr game does not.

fun and addicting

i like this game and i especially like the secrets that you unlock after beating levels and i wish there were more things to unlock, but i dont know how you could accomplish this. it reminds me of goldeneye on n64.

anyway, one thing i didnt like about it is the one-bullet-per-screen effect. i realize this could be part of the strategy of the game, but it sucks when squares are closing in on you and you have to wait for your bullet to hit something or to leave the screen. maybe being able to have more bullets on the screen (like.. 3), or having the bullets on a short timer (but still being able to fire after you hit something) would be worth considering.

Great game, nothing of which I can see to improve on, except maybe a highscores table. A highscores table? And record what! I bet you're asking as you read this. One word reply: time. Or perhaps attempts, or something like that. But nothing else that I can complain about. Except that if you made this, perhaps, a stat-building game, it would be very interesting. Building stats to survive more time being hit by a block, bigger bullets, how many blocks a bullet can penetrate, etc. But here are some tips for everyone else:

1) TAKE YOUR TIME
This is not timed (yet), and no one will yell at you if you take an hour to complete the easy level (except maybe yourself for burning an hour).
2) DO NOT GET THE "M" POWERUP
After the easy level, the "M" powerup will be your worst nightmare. If you try it, you'll know why. Too hard to explain.
3)GET THE "I", "S", AND GIANT BLOB POWERUPS
These will be your best friends. Invincibility will let you shoot away without worrying where the blocks are. SlowBlocks will let you shoot easier, as you will have to compensate for speed much less. Giant bullets will let you get those really tiny ones with no problems.
