PrEmoEffect responds:

Haha thanks. Btw, if ya like hip hop music, what were ya doin in the house section :P

freaking pro.

You know, I remember listening to the songs you made way back when. Voyage, Night of Dreamless Sleep, those... and I realize how far you've come from those. I love the style. Everything comes together. Really a pleasure to the ears.

I'm terribly sorry about the 9, but I believe that 10 is perfection, and perfection is extremely hard to achieve. The beginning is so deserving of a 10, but after 2min (see below) there were minor flaws that prevented me from giving you the perfect. Believe me, it's as close to perfect as you can get without being there.

CC: The beat starting at 2:04 and ending about 4:00 seems a tad weak to me, in comparison to the melo and stuff which seem to overshadow it a bit. It might not just be the beat, but maybe the bassline as well. You have to produce remembering that some of us don't have awesome speakers/earphones. The ending also was quite sudden and not exactly perfect.

Don't beat yourself up over the flaws I perceived. You only had two. TWO! You know how much a 9 means coming from me? As much as a 10 from anyone else. Take it like one; it'll feel better.

PrEmoEffect responds:

Haha, ok, so now I have the time to respond to this. No need to be sorry about the 9, haha. It's true, I make my tracks using special speakers (unfortunately, I don't have any others). They aren't special in a "good" way though, they just have a built in eq or something that brings down the higher frequencies and boosts the higher frequencies.

Playing this track from laptop speakers makes a big difference. The higher freqs are definitely boosted, but then again, you got the controls of your own eq right? :P

As for the ending, yes, it is very different from typical endings. I have a special reason for this though.

Perhaps I should have specified that this is a radio edit. (Shortened from 9 minutes). The ending is special to leave the listener with remnant emotions. Rather than letting the song fade out, giving the listener time to relax his/her emotions, I wanted something that left the listener with something. However, I don't know for how many people this does that.

Thank you for your very comprehensive review. It will help me in my future productions :)

nice

Ur House Song its exellent d>.<b y.

PrEmoEffect responds:

Haha, thank you. What's the "y" at the end of your smiley? Abstract DJ stuff?

Perfect K.O.!

--Production--
Crisp, tight and absolutely professional. This honestly sounds like some of the best house has ever been.

--Listenability--
Absolutely. The style is completely different, and it always surprises you, but never jolting. This absolutely spectacular stuff.

--Genius--
Oozes it. You really know how melodies fuse together into one sound.

--Flair--
This has got your own style to it which I like. It's very nice.

--Tilt--
I was so surprised by this... you could get paid for this! This is the best music I've heard on Newgrounds hands down. Well done.

Production: 10/10
Listenability: 9/10
Genius: 9/10

PrEmoEffect responds:

Thank you for the thorough review. It's not common that you get one. I'm guessing that a 10/10 means ALOT coming from you. You gave good feedback.

As for being the best... haha, don't know about that, but I'll agree that it's different. I tried to combine both house and trance together in a way that's different from progressive house. So, I don't really know about being paid haha. I just do it for the kicks. (haha, was a pun intended there?)
