Reviews for "==(Marine Debris)=="

Nice and soothing.

I definetely got the feel you were going for. The atmosphere is what stands out most in this piece, that and the calming drums. The instrument choice was wierd, but it worked out well for this style of song. Everything seems to have its place, nothing tries to overpower anything else, everything just fits. The blend is simply perfect. The one thing i would have liked wouldve been more of a melody to give this piece somewhere to go to, if you get what i mean. Other than that, i think this is a great song, some slight issues, but very interesting and varied. Definetely something worth listening to.

SCORE:
Intro = 2/2
Outro = 2/2
Blend = 2/2
Transitions = 2.5/3
Bass = 1.5/2
Originality = 3/3
Drums = 2/2
Melodies = 2/4
--------------------
Score = 17/20 = 8.5/10

Darklight

The effect has been achieved!

This is what's awesome about music, you can use your instruments to achieve a certain effect, and you certainly exploited that to it's full potential. I can just imagine myself submerged in the water with all the waste.
With that being said, music is what you make of it and sometimes you have to say screw the rules and go with your gut. You did what you had to in order to give the listener what you had intended. So there's plus for originality and effect. The levels are also quite well managed, everything has their layers.

But if I may give a recommendation, perhaps in order to give a better effect, screw with the levels at different points, the pops might be louder at a certain point as the empty bottle draws closer to the listener. Great work!

Damn

This is scary. Like, really O_o. The atmospheric effects really make this sound like you are in some kind of limbo. The many different effects and percussion make this actually interesting and fun to listen to :O. The changes in effects also keep the attention of the listener, which is great.

The tapping reverb thing at 2:44 is so creepy :S I like turned around 'cause I didn't know it was in the song -.-

Unfortunately I don't have a subwoofer and I can't hear the lows this song has. Oh well. Great composition and I lol'ed at the change in chords because it was so akward :P

I really should take music theory...

...to make songs like this.

awesome composition

your tunes remind of of like, metroid prime music. really good underwater vibes in this one. I dont really like how it opens though
