Mario is stronger in this because the boos have no mercy on anyone, also, they supplied Mario with their own power when they possessed him. Luigi has been holding back because he still shows sentiments about Mario being his brother. Mario opens whoop-ass cuz he doesn't care. That's what I think, and I'm sure that I'm right.
