Reviews for "777 - Part 3"

not bad

everything was going half decent and then you ruin it story wise...just completely ruined...

good one

ahh, 777 is back.... very very nice to see.
i remember the first 2 episodes of this series and they were very nice... and this 3rd episode sure didn't fail to disappoint. this one continued on great with the other 2, and it also added its own little twist to it... very nice to see.
good work on this 3rd episode... and glad to see it win an award too, and now i'm off to look at episode 4.

What a twist...

I know that you apologized for the lack of action, but frankly, the backstory and the rhyme and reason was desperately needed to the series. And seeing 777 in tranquil settings was a big relief to the general all-crash-slash-bang-boom to the action sequences.

Music was very nice. While others criticized the lack of vocal acting, I think it set the retro-game mood pretty well. Decent lines from the characters, too.

And 777's identity took me by surprise, even after I recognized her steed.

The main grinch I have with it is everything is in 2-D from the sides... I know that you probably did it that way for the side-scroll video game look, but still... it made me feel like I was looking at Egyptian hieroglyphics. I'd suggest checking out a tutorial on how to do 8-way 3D characters in Flash.

Except for that... this is arguably the best chapter so far IMNSHO.

Great job on such a good episode!

I'm absolutely raving about this series so far to see that you've gone from something simple and good to a whole series that never dissapoints.
Personally, I thought the whole secret identity bit was a teeny bit corny but you made it seem more epic so I can't complain.
The one thing that this series is really lacking is voices. The subtitled words are extremely annoying and it's extremely hard to describe the emotion of the characters and that makes it a bit plain.
Other than that a great series so far.
Now to watch episode 4.

Very creative

I usually don't write reviews unless I don't like the flash, but I just really liked this one. I love your creativity, everything is very original! The fantasy / adventure setting gives the flash a detail that draws the viewer into the plot. Incredible detail, I hope that you expand upon your storyline especially. All in all, a very well done flash, and I look forward to more. The onyl thing that you might want to add would be real voices? You would have to be careful not to ruin the "feel" of the flash though.
