Not nearly as good as it could have been.

This movie could have been remarkable. I would like to see this be redone. The graphics were highly styalized but decent, except for a few akward scenes, where they looked rather silly. Choosing a cartoon-like style for such a serious theme took courage, and I applaud you for that.
The music chosen fit rather well, although the transitions were a bit jumpy. I'm not sure having it be a silent movie was the best choice, but it worked well enough, I suppose. I would have liked it to seem more realistic, the enemies were ridiculously easy to kill, and the final showdown should have been longer and more of a challenge. All in all, good, but not spectacular.

All the animation had to be done in four days, soooh... I couldn't be too picky XD
but, after all, a 6 is about what I expected to get on this movie (at most :D) so I'm very happy to get a 6/10 ^^ thanks!

Amazinly good

I was quite impressed with your animation style, story was pretty action pact too, and i liked the way you told it, only draw back was the lack of sound, but that was it, all in all amazin, all credit to you

I thougt there was enough sound XD some of the background sounds & stuff are a bit low, tho. Maybe you didn't hear them? :D

good graphics and animation...sound was good too...
but that staff, stick or whatever...what was it made of???
it blocked a sword! and opened a hole in a skull...it must be magical...
good stuff!

Nice flash, but a little cheesy at times

First off let me say that I enjoyed this flash. Even though it wasn't realistic, I enjoyed the graphics. I can't put my finger on just what was so unique about them, but I just found it well done. Also, the sound was fitting and helped improve the movie. Finally, I liked the story even though there were no words (which was obviously intended xP).

Yet, there was one thing that kind of irked me. The fighting scenes seemed a bit cheesy. I liked the shuriken at the starting scene, but after that I thought the fighting could have been improved a bit. I didn't like how one of the 4 went down with just a smack to the face (I did like the 4 separate break-ups of it though). I also disliked how the last fight ended so quickly. The whole movie built up the revenge but it just didn't finish with a bam. Another bonk on the face seems a bit too trivial to take down a guy of his magnitude.

Nevertheless, even with those few minor things, I did greatly enjoy the flash and I commend you on a good submission 8/10 ^^

Thank you!! ^^ I didn't expect to get this good reviews on my first movie ^^ oh, and btw, the fighting scenes were supposed to be like... 3 times as long o.O but I only had 4 days to do all the animation ^^ and 3 days to finish the sound & stuff... so I had to make it shorter :D maybe I'll make it longer some time :)
oh! and the shuriken part was my favourite from the beginning of the project XD
