Interesting Song
Well executed. You really can't go wrong with Ash and Evil Dead. I happen to like some industrial metal, though I'm not really a fan of Rammstein or Pain. I'm more into other industrial stuff. This song is mostly a mix of industrial metal and groove metal (a genre I usually dislike a lot), but the grooviness works out pretty well here.
However this is a great song. Very heavy and melodic at times. What grabbed me in the song was that it has some interesting elements here and there. For example, right before the middle of the song, there's a part that gets all slow and doom metal and I LOVE that. It's from 1:30 to 2:00. Possibly the best part of the song. It's just crushing. You also have a couple parts (like from 2:45 to 3:00) where it gets technical and melodic and is very reminiscent of power metal, which I thought was cool. The song also has some cool ambient parts and an excellent use of sampling.
Very nice style there. It could have gone totally wrong for me, but it worked well.
