Well for someone trying to keep things simple the animation still had a lot of elements involved: the cat, the boarders, and background had much going on. I like how you decided to make it look tradtional drawings on a canvas, with that said the most of the choppy animations worked perfectly. Other animations done in this style did have quick movements when animating something graceful, to me it felt like the passing of seasons.
The one thing I didn't like was the song. It's effective becuase man I wanted to sleep too. -__- zzz I personally would've liked something less lazy, but you can't cater to what everyone wants now can you? ;)
