The banshee is actually an Irish ghost who is linked to a family. She appears before a death of a memeber of the family and cries for them. She is either a young beautiful woman or an old wrinkled hag. She is usually linked to the family by one of their ancestors murdering her. One example of this is the O'Brien family, who's banshee appeared to a visiting friend of Lady Honora O'Brien. Her cousin later died.
Thank you for having an excellent movie that is true in it's sources. It isn't that often we see that.

ommfg i loved it it waz amazeing i found the start riveating besides the banshee is an old Irish folk tell passed down in my family as well and i have always loved it and im glad to see it done like this it makes it a little more worth lisoning to and the speeach acent is right along up there with the heratage of the folk tale and being a little Irish my self i found i loved it it waz great and my complaments to the auther and i hope to see more such as this

The Banshee, for those who haven't ever picked up a book, is an Irish fairy. A spirit that anounces when there's soon to be a death. It's cry heralds the death of a family member. She has the body of a young girl but a hidious death like face.
This is a very good piece of animation for an old folk myth. Why haven't you done more?
