Reviews for "A Halloween Horror"

A poor outing

Confusing go nowhere controls are the biggest problem.

Not good

Only reason it gets 3 stars is because its from ARMOR GAMES

This game shakes my beleif in armor games

This game really could be better in every way :S

I thought it was very nice.

A very well balanced game. In the future you should probably have some sort of double jump. I couldn't get to the one platform in the beginning.

A solid game with a few flaws

This was a very enjoyable platformer. The variety of moves, areas, and enemies was a great contributer to the game's overall enjoyment. Unfortunately, the duck attack, and duck in general, were hardly ever used. On another note, the controls could be somwhat clunky, especially in relation to the Dash ability. Also, the noises were a little irritating after a while, even if they did complement the atmosphere. The style and fluidity of the characters were very well executed, however, the graphical detail seemed to be a little subpar.

Despite some flaws, I commend you for your efforts in producing this. I recommend touching up on some of the graphical aspects, as well as incorporating some new elements to include some of the unused moves. Otherwise, good job!

4/5

Thanks for reviewing and liking the game, but about the flaws:

-Duck attack and duck are not hardly ever used just because you do not use them. Duck is used to dodge some floating ghosts and duck attack has a longer range than normal attack. Maybe it is not used as often but having it there is not a pain...

- When you mean dash is clunky, I a not sure what you mean by that. It's a good experience from what my testers say.

-About graphic detail, I would very much like to touch up on those but given the short time period available to make the game, I wasn't able to. I mean 15 level backgrounds and 15 level foregrounds that are 1000+ pixels wide... Hmmm

Thanks a lot for the review!
