Reviews for "Boss Fight 1"

great

needs some dynamics though

Nice

This was a pretty intense boss battle theme you created,it was fast pace for the most part and had a wide variety of awesome beats that went very well with each other, the quality was great as was the volume syncing of the beat so overall i think this was another swell track you created. =)

nice song!

I think your melody should be louder, so that it stands out more. An example is the horn's melody (it sounds like a horn, but I'm not sure) you should put more emphasis on that melody. Otherwise this is pretty good!

Ok thanks ill do just that! I love advice...

Isn't this like....

A final fantasy loop......

Great for an action RPG?

If Banjo-Kazooie is an action RPG, then yes. This sounds so much like a Banjo-Kazooie boss theme it's not funny. Certain parts sound like they might be cut out of an actual boss theme from the game. For example at 58 seconds in, that chord progression...hold on a second, let me check...nope, it's not Banjo-Kazooie, it's Donkey Kong 64. The final battle theme against K. Rool starts out with that little chord progression. But it's not just that part, the whole thing sounds heavily inspired by the games from rare. The chord progression at the beginning that jumps into the main battle theme immediately made me feel like I was playing Donkey Kong 64 or Banjo-Kazooie. The instruments in general sound like they'd fit those games as well. I'm not saying you stole it or anything, obviously it's original, but I can't help but find it amusing how heavily inspired by N64 era Rare platformers this sounds, despite being intended as an action rpg song. Don't get me wrong though. It's actually a pretty good song. Really sounds like it came right out of the N64 era, and would make a great boss theme.
