thanks for making this, I have been trying to make buttons, but it came up with this message whemn I tried doing it:

That was not a very good tutorial.
AS AN EXPERIENCED FLASH ARTIST YOU ARE NEVER SUPPOSED TO USE THE DROPDOWN SELECTION MENU.
You should have them memorized and be able to simply type them in.
THATS what you should be teaching noobies, NOT to take shortcuts and/or be lazy about it.
You should also explain about button states. And the importance of the 'hit' state, that is if you know what that is...
This tutorial is inadequit and is a bad influence on people who are new to flash.
You are teaching them bad habits, and people new to flash will just get confused when it gets more complicated if they're always relying on the dropdown menus.
Dude what are you talking about?. i used the pictures so that new people could understand it better. and it wasent so bad. Dont be gelous.

aas it was only for buttons, but it was well done and very informative. The screen prints and such really help. :)
