Reviews for "Super Smash Flash"

lol

i love SSBM, i really liked it that the character selection, and menu pages were very close to the real games, i thought everything except the actually fighting was good... it was often glitchy and there arent ehnough moves =( but ether way, u obviously put alooot of effort into it =)

4/5

Holy Crap This IS AWSOME!

omg i spent hours playing this game it is so good :) i bet that u could make EVEN BETTER!!!!! well cause since this is ur first...

has its ups and downs

I think this game brings alot to the table for a flash remake of one of my favorite series, but I also think that you could have done a lot more justice to the two types of attacks system that made the original (first set was the 'A' button, specials were 'B') if you hadnt felt the need to add in some extra characters (sonic and tails i could understand but was knuckles and blade really necessarry?). Anyways, I digress, this game could've done with some better gameplay but overall its still a great game that deserves this 10/5, and the front page one-hundred percent. I hope to see more work from you in the future, and perhaps a new version of sorts.

Cleod-9 responds:

Yes, Knuckles was necessary because he had a great spritesheet. He also makes it much easier to do the 100-man melee.

i just shat myself.

that was sOOOOOOOOO good im putting that on my favorites omg
i couldnt believe how alike it was to the original one on gamecube, a little bit slow, but still fucking amazing
thanks for the fun
make more :D

really good

the game was done very well, but its not without its problems, but even console games have their problems. my major beef with this game was the somewhat unresponsive controls when moving, but i soon got over it and beat it. its obvious you took a lot of time to get all the loose ends of the game into this flash. i have some recomendations for future versions of this game: if at all possible, make it so that characters can grab onto ledges (i'd be impressed if you put that in), and also, try to make the controls a little bit more spot on (not complaining, just suggesting) anyway, good job and keep up the good work

Cleod-9 responds:

Good suggestions. This is the second comment I got about the controls, it doesn't lag for me so I find it a bit strange.

And I would even surprise myself if I added ledge-grabbing...
