Reviews for "-[ Funky Loop ]-"

I like it.

Very funky. The only thing that stands out was the lack of a high end brass part. It never jumped out of it's skin and went that extra mile that funk goes. I just read that you lost the file sadly, sorry to hear that :\

With that in mind, this is lovely. Nice! Maybe some vibraphone next time? :o

FlamingFirebolt responds:

Hmm, a higher brass would be great. But, i'm not doing them myself. I Have to rely on sorohanro. ( Who did a great job to begin with ). Sadly to say, he was really busy with life and couldn't do more recording. I thought, oke, no problem i'll think of something :D. Until my computer died.
I really wish i could finish this one. It's one of those songs whom really come close to what i had in mind. I will try to make a new funk song.. someday :D.
A vibraphone? lol if you could give me a vst or library that has a vibraphone i could try! ^^

Thanks you liked it,

Sounds soo fresh :D... You did a great job. But yea, sorohanro is awesome too :D. I love the bass and drums too. I can see this in a game menu.

5/5, 10/10

Game menu? I was really hoping that dan paladin would use it that way... ^^ One can only wish.
Thanks for your review,

Freaking awesome dude! Finally a funk song that makes
me want to play it again and again. Its got a chilled feel
but at same time maintains a level of excitment.

Just awesome.

FlamingFirebolt responds:

:D Thanks for the review jesse

Great song! I'm really interested on how you made this in FL Studio. It seems complicated.

I really like the trumpets and the funky bass. Nice work!

FlamingFirebolt responds:

It's fairly easy though, honestly making an EDM song requires much more then a song like this.
The bass is NI scarbee Amped Bass, the break is sampled from a vinyl record. ( popped into fruity slicer ). The brass is recorded by sorohanro. The hammond organ is from the free Kore player (native instrument) and the Rhodes is also from native instrument scarbee serie. I'm not advertising but NI makes great stuff ^^.

Awesome ... 8/10

I thought it was great I could hear a little crackling though but I'm not going to complain. Thanks for the Submit!

FlamingFirebolt responds:

I believe the crackle is from the vinyl Break. I could use a real drum or some sampled drums. but that vinyl break gives it that 70's feel that it needed :D.
