I admit I've never played FF1, but in FF9 the black mage Vivi is who I thought this was. it fits Vivi's character too. Either way, I adore this picture and its epic skill at it's best. Thank you for sharing this.

I never finished final fantasy 1, But played final fantasy 9 for the first time last year, which reminded me of the black mages of the older ones as well 'w'

Yeah, I feel there have been kinda less of FF love recently?. But maybe that's because the newer games don't seem to have the same magical feeling as the old ones, perhaps?.
