Reviews for "Guitar Vs. Piano [ver. XCEED] (Goukisan Remix)"

Nice, its still alive!

i listened to the old one all the time and havn't realy heard from it sence, but i love the metal aspect of it, great job.

rtnario responds:

Yep. I don't know if this is the very last of its kind, but if it is, I made sure I ended it with a bang like no other. =) Thanks for the review!

hmmmmmmmmm.....

would have given the original a lot more justice if the piano ws brought out a LOT more...... especially when it firsat comes in. if you either quietened the guitar leads down or amplified the piano, then this would be absolutely awesome. but i give you an 8 for effort anyway

rtnario responds:

Considering who I am, a remix of the original would have, no doubt, been more geared towards metal. After all, a band has a minimum of two guitars while here there were four while you never usually need more than one piano. It's all preferences, really. XD Thanks.

Awesome remix!

Piano is kind outnumbered lol

rtnario responds:

Very much so considering there are 4 guitars in the song. But hey, the rhythm and bass sections don't get solos ;) Thanks!

Ive never heard the Original..

But without going by that, I like this. Its got a weird... Flair to it, hard to describe. It brings alot to my mind, just bouncing around as I wonder what it was meant to show for. Very crisp Piano notes that dont overtone the guitar and the electric guitar isnt earbleed causing, making this worthy of listening to on my headphones.

I love the rhythm, I cant decide if I should see it as a form of intensity, or a competative-ness contrasting the original and your own piece.

Congratulations, up there with Nemesis Theory, your about on par with what I like to listen to, and how you both do your music seems to attract me. Keep up the great work.

rtnario responds:

Well, the original had the melody that got the attention of so many...I simply gave it my own twist! I made sure that when the guitar and piano played, there was room for both, and in this setup unlike Infinite Being, the guitars, bass and drums are all changed. That might explain the lack of earbleed, because usually there is and I know it well. XD

The rhythm is probably the HARDEST part in this entire song. For one, the original had no rhythm guitar, so all the riffs and chords there were derived from the melodies of the lead and piano. So in a sense, it does contrast greatly from the original (along with the new drums that would work in speed/power/death metal ^^;).

Thanks for the reviews on a lot of my songs! I'm glad you enjoyed this one and also that I'm kinda on par with NemesisTheory in your opinion...there's supposedly a huge gap (in experience both in music and as a Newgrounds artist) between that artist and me, so it's quite something to say.

Thank you so much, and as always, I hope my future works reach expectations. =)

Remember me?

Its be a while. It seems you've become quite popular since I last saw you, theoretically speaking. A no it's not finished, (fffffuuuuuu-). Still, your music inspires me.

rtnario responds:

Yo. Reading your reviews gave me a refresher, so welcome back! XD Although since then people have already used my songs in a Flash but IMHO I have yet to find one that truly impresses me in how my music is to be used. So thanks, and keep at it! :D
