Ambient indeed!
I actually quite liked this. At first I was unhappy to hear the beat come in, but it turns out it works, especially with the slicing you've done.
I'd like to see a solo or change up in the middle, and some sort of real ending (fading out is sooo 90's :P) but I'm happy enough to look at more of your stuff.

the swelling synth reminded me a little of level 2 in earth worm jim 2, but it turns out it sounds much more epic. sweet drums too.

Its a good song to listen to when going to bed.
Soothing. A nice song to wake up too.
The beginning kind of drove my attention away for a second, but after a while it got me interesting. I like how you sliced some of the beats to give a more edgy feeling, rather than just let it flow and make just one long strand of bland notes. Wish it was longer, though, and with different beats. Please keep working on this.
