i'd like to hear this with all the reverb off the drums, especially the kick since it makes the low end of the mix very messy. probably take the volume of the kick and backbeat noise down a few dB too. dry drum sounds can have a very nice retro feel.
that said, i quite like the melody and progression and general instrumentation/sound design despite the excessive reverb. sweeeet beans!

this sounds a bit more complex than 8 bit though. There are some great classic sounds in there though, i enjoy the whipping/tearing sound that comes in. reminds me of pokemon days...
