Reviews for "Beatsource - The Khazak"

Oh man.

This is amazing, dude.
I'm actually not speaking in terms of it being a remix, as Russian folk songs tend to be significantly more complex, but just as a song that borrowed the main melody, it's amazing.

The effects were great, I loved the use of semi-distinct vocals.

Great song overall.

Thanks mate (Y)

Rodina?

The melody is "Naksi vs Brunner - Rodina" for sure :P
So in my opinion the title whould be "Naksi vs Brunner - Rodina (Beatsource remix)"

Well, now that I got that out of the way... The remix itself is very nicley done, I started on one myself some months ago or so, with a house/electro twist. Didn't complete it though.

I like the russian automosphere this remix have and it's very different from both the original and the "Megara Vs Dj Lee" remix.

Ethalyn responds:

Nah, actually it's from an old russian folk song called Rodina... so your smugyness is kind of annoying.

Well, thanks, for the 'review, i guess.

very good!

the song was repetitive wise, but I thought the structure of the song was very varied. Thus, for me, the song was very enjoyable!

Interesting take on dance music.

I've never heard the Eastern Europe/Asia Minor style of composing put together with synths and drum kits.

4/5. A benefit to this song is that you can either shuffle to it or kick to it.

likin it

Definitely a hot track man; you did a fantastic job of balancing the kick with everything else: not too overbearing but right up in your face at the same time. I'm not completely lovin the tune, though, it sounds a bit like a eurodance loop with a bit of american influence and a few random keys thrown in here and there with a slight hint of pansiness.

as for repetitiveness, that's no problem; if you've got a good idea, you might as well say it again :D
