Reviews for "Juice and Carpet"

Oh dear - misinterpretation for the lose!

Voices are distinct, emotions are spot on, the normal guy's reactions are believable, and the effects are creeping me out! Hilarious idea! I have to agree with thegrimloki about this - it's very much reminiscent of a Python gag. I look forward to hearing what you have in the future, good sir.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Thats so far two people who have related this to python.. that.. is.. AWESOME.

LOL!

i got it almost immediately lol, its very creative, very funny, and well acted! i have to say the pacing is a little slow, but overall it is very well thought out!

LOL! i just heard 3:30 Hahaha! it keeps getting better! LOL! excellent fatty! X3

i love this man! very very funny! well written! the voices are quite good but a little samey together,
great work! :D

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Thanks there Stalagmite, now stop being a whore and post your animations to NG! >:)

Nice job!!

I have to say, I was really impressed with this. First of all, the voices are distinct and unique and the sound quality was great (lot better then my crappy headset mic).

Second of all, the story was borderlined from hilarious to just plain wrong; just the way I like it. That carpet joke was freakin' hilarious and now I will never hold a duck again.

The only gripe I truly had was the echo effect during the cellar part. That might've been a bit too MUCH for the echo, a little less next time. Still, that doesn't detier me away from givin' ya a ten and a five. Overall a fanatstic job!

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Well, on some speakers the echo will sound a bit.. awful. I thought that turning down the volume would help but I guess not hahah.

Lol.

I have a metal clamp that supports my bag leg, it's cool... It's a fun knee clip, BOOM TISH. only fair I review something of yours. I went oh snap at 1:20 but I think that was it's peak. When you make a *spits out in disgust* sound you might want to avoid air-smacking the mic but other than that your quality was top notch and I had a good laugh, especially the sound you made over a Canadian penny. So much that I played it back and back until I had tears in my eyes. I wanna hear a character based off that weird sound.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Hahah NEEEERRRROOO. The spit sound was horrid but ahh well. :P

Longer than need be- but still humorous-

I listened to the full thing just for you lol-

When it came to story, there isn't much you could do with it to make it work better with itself- mainly because when it comes to puns, it's terribly hard to get a long story without having it drag on. In this regard, as a positive- I'd have to say the entire skit reminded me of Monty Python- which was awesome.

When it came to range- I would have liked to hear a bit more than an accent separating the two voices, but with what separation there was- you could at least tell the difference.

Other than that, the only productive criticism I can really give is that I thought the shop keeper was way to quiet during some scenes- just along with the customer, causeing some difficulties in believing what was happening.

And when it all comes down to naught- you still get a 9/10 for it- because it was pretty good.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Monty python? That is indeed awesome since they are my life long heroes. The main joke was that it did drag on, and the man was starting to feel on the edge. I didn't try very hard on the range, which is why I had this sitting in my computer for so long. I realized they sounded different ENOUGH so I went ahead and posted it. This is a quiet skit because I did some equalizing, but all you have to do is turn up the speakers haha.
