Reviews for "Last Caravan"

Simply Excellent.

A superb piece of work. At first I saw a caravan(like in the title) meandering across a desert. Then the music built up and exploded as a group of bandits attacked. A battle ensued, music perfectly matching every blow dealt, and I saw someone fleeing the battle. It must have been someone of importance as their clothes were of much greater quality than the rest of the caravan. The track calmed down as the person trudged on through the desert, not knowing where or what direction they were headed. End. (hey, you said it can provide visuals, I'm telling what I saw)

Excellent! Thank you.

Great song.

Where did you get that harp-ish lute-y sound? It's so delicate and good. Also, buildup was great, the length wasn't too long, and not too short, a lot of people ruin a buildup. Even the ambient parts are still so powerful yet calm. All this variety is great. And the mastering itself is great, nothing is muddy, everything has it's own section. It truly is just great.

Those instruments' sounds are sampled recordings from the East West RA library.

The bass recorder and concert harp (EWQLSO Gold) are the instruments in the beginning. You first hear the esraj most prominently when it trills around 2:50.

Thank you for your review!

Amazing!

I saw your post on the front page and decided to check out your music to see if the quality you implied was actually evident, and I can say without a doubt you have exceeded my expectations. Hearing the beginning, I was expecting a slow piece with only slight variation, but as the song progressed, I heard bangs and crashes of cymbals matching up perfectly with the building music. Well done! I'm gonna go check out your other stuff. :D

This is extremely good, like all your other songs

I have my eye on you now... I'll be keenly looking out for new work from you.

thanks!

Stunning!

Gotta love this! Your compositions are always superb and im always stunned at how well you do this stuff.

It's fantastically dramatic.

I'm flattered. Thanks Peter!
