Oh I don't really remember that. It wasn't like one moment I sat at the piano and said "now I'm going to write a song". Just everyday day I sat for hours on the piano playing all sorts of covers and now and then between songs you experiment a bit with some chords you've found. And then after a while you end up with a tune :o)
