Great game, one problem...

Great game, it's really good. I liked how you did everything on it. However the sound could be heightened a bit. Other than that it's real good.

Okay the only problem I have for the game is Mission 8. Way to hard for the amount of soldiers you get. 4 word/spear, 2 archers, 2 apprentices, and your hero cant beat all of those damn orcs. Even if you pull the orcs toward you with the archers they eventually get massacered. I sat there for two hours replaying the level trying a new tactic each time, only to end up dying when all those orcs spawn at the barracks. You can't do it! You need to do something about making the level easier because I want to finish that game and beat it.

Send your hero first, and when the orcs are after him, bring him back to your troops. Have him fight with the other units and when he is very low on health, make him run until he heals.

Amazing

I can say without heasitation that this is possibly the best game on newgrouns. I love how you added more kind of warcraft-esque elements into it without letting the micromanagement impede upon the action. More unit variety would be nice, as well as a variety of races to play as. Finally, mad props for using the morrowind music.

You should be able to choose different races like elfs or gnomes or the short, but very hairy guys (I don't rmeber the name) Oh add in some other units like magicians that was cool.

Beautiful...

That is a wicked game, i know its taken a long time to make this and you put alot of effort into it, well its paid off cuz its a great game, and is great to play... but it does lag abit for me :( and takes a while to make the troops move and attack would of been better without the double click and just one click but i can work round that lol... but yeah great game you will win for sure!!!

Nice, but a few flaws

1) the max number of men you can select at once is 12. Hero + 12 men = 13. You have to select twice to move all your men- annoying

2) too easy to just send the hero in, pull him out, and have apprentices/archers rain death while you just meander back and forth.

3) if you've got a castle, money is so easy to come by that spearmen/footmen become redundant

4) attacking a building shouldn't be automatic. it feels like a kludge that you have to shift-click away from buildings while you're dealing with orcs.

5) since money just flows, and you're never attacked after the first couple waves, there's no reason to protect your troops. just keep churning out royal guards and apprentices to replace those that die.

6) your hero is upgradeable, but no other unit gains experience with combat- it would be nice to have them "promoted" if they make kills.
