Reviews for "Desperation of the Phoenix"

Lacks presence, bad end, but enjoyable.

I'm not quite sure how this relates to Mokou, but it sounds well.

It's a bit climactic as it almost rises through the first half of the song. Very nicely executed. It does manage to stay up there for the rest of the song, but it doesn't really go anywhere from there. By just staying there, it becomes less interesting. Still, it's pleasant to the ears. Nothing is shrill and nothing sounds off to me. The last half does have the kind of sound Imperishable Night's soundtrack brings about, but your song doesn't have as much presence.

I think that if anything, your music could use more atmosphere. You can do that through some percussions or reverb. Maybe a background tone to accompany the main tone. Otherwise, it's a very well done piece of music.

As for the last few seconds, the cutoff is a bit urksome. It's a little too high at the end. It doesn't loop into the opening well and it sounds a bit off when it's not looping. Best to bring it down, maybe with a lower pitch, to make it more pleasant.

Great song, but needs more.
