Reviews for "Bubbles (KB Game)"

Cool game

Good game, but there's no such thing as colored bubbles, not even in a magical world. Color can't stick to the molecular structure of a bubble. I guess its supposed to take place in a crazy magical world where men live on the moon, which is made of cheese and birds swim under water while fish fly.

Denvish responds:

Got it in one.

Sounds Like Fun!

I am reviewing it a 10 on interactivity, because the I can drag the icons into the correct bubble and then catch it on the wagon. I also reviewed it a 10 on graphics, because it contains good background, and good objects in this game. Finally, I reviewed it a 10 on the rest of them, because that was the fun game, and good animation. That was the fun game I have ever played. I hope you did really a good job! I'm very proud of you!

Denvish responds:

Thanks for the amazingly positive review, it's appreciated

Awesome

Creating backgrounds like that solely through API should be worth a 10 alone.

The gameplay was unique and fun... what more could you seriously want from a u100kb game (with music) ?

How much space did the music alone take up?

Denvish responds:

The music/sfx was about 69 kb, and the embedded font was another 20. The actual game code was 10-11 kb.

Nice to see that people appreciate the work behind the game :)

Fantastic

Another great submission by the master of KB games, who has surpassed himself with this one. There is an amazing attention to detail (the cart bouncing off the screen sides!), and everything is very tightly packaged together. I know full well the constraints of doing an API game so I can honestly say that this is greatly under-rated with its current score. Only criticism? The intro text was a bit too long; you could maybe put instructions in-game. Anyways good job!

Denvish responds:

Thanks, I appreciate the fact that a coder like yourself enjoyed the game. I'll think about having in-game instructions for future games, although it would be tricky with API

Title.

That was a good game! I really had to work hard to keep up. I believe I made it to level 7 or 8 before I lost control. This simple concept and fun play makes this a very good "boredom game."
